Learning Outcomes
The student learns to combine information of various topics in the various phases of this project related to utilisation of electrical energy. The student can work as a responsible member in a project team.
Student's Workload
80 h.
Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses
Electrical Machines, Power Electronics
Contents
The topics of the study units on the common core theme are combined in the project. The topic can be e.g. the calculatory and experimental study of a certain drive. The properties of the drive are first studied e.g. using MathCAD and then in practice in the laboratory. An important part is the design and implementation of measurement and testing connections and writing the report.
Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools
Material defined by the teacher.
Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Guided project work which can include short teaching periods.
Assessment Criteria
5: The student is able to utilise the knowledge/methods/calculations learnt during the study unit independently and combine the knowledge with previously learnt in various contexts.
3: The student is able to utilise the knowledge/methods/calculations learnt during the study unit independently.
1: The student is able, with guidance, to utilise the knowledge/methods/calculations learnt during the study unit.
Assessment Methods
The assessment is based on the activity demostrated in the project work in various phases and the quality of the implementation, report and oral presentation
