Learning Outcomes
After the course, a student understands the behaviour of the basic electronic components, as well as the most common electronic circuits of theirs. (S)he can apply the theoretical knowledge of electronics in analysis of application-related circuits and in design of component-based electronics.
Student's Workload
81 h, which contains 30 h of contact studies. The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.
Contents
Diodes, transistors, operation amplifiers, passive and active first-order and second-order filters. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). A practical work on a filter.
Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools
The material given by the teacher.
Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Lectures, simulations, exercises.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 1: The student knows how to theoretically handle the most essential components of electronics.
Grade 3: The student is able to model an electric circuit.
Grade 5: The student masters the behaviour of electric circuits theoretically, and can apply the theory in designing electric circuits.
Assessment Methods
Homework exercises, simulation reports, an examination.
