Learning Outcomes
The student has abilities to design industrial control and monitored control systems. The student can produce necessary applications using the initial data for process design. The student can also choose measuring and control equipment and make installation, acquisition and imoplementation plans for them.

The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents
Design of startup and shutdown sequences for processes and implementation. Controls and their management in states of changes. Choosing the measuring and control equipment and installation taking the chracteristics of the process into account. Documentation needed in design, acquisition and maintenance within industrial automation.
