Learning Outcomes

The student becomes familiar with the periodic table of the elements and classification of matters, especially on the basis of electromagnetic properties. The student knows the chemical reactions and phenomena connected with combustion and electrochemistry. The student understands the contraints caused by industry to the environment and the necessity of minimising the constraint.

Student's Workload

The total amount of student's work is 54 h, which contains 28 h of contact studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Periodic system and classification of matters, chemical reaction, electromagnetic properties of matter, physical chemistry, environmental chemistry.
