Learning Outcomes

The student knows
- how to illustrate the politico-administrative system of social and health care and municipal administration as part of it
- how to illustrate central international and national targets and programs for social and health policy and put them into practice in management and development context in social and health care services
- processes of strategy work and act customer-oriented in different processes in service production
- how to illustrate guidance and monitoring systems within Health and Social Services, knows the main contents of guiding acts, regulations and statutes, and is able to apply them in daily professional setting
- how to recognize central administrative procedures

Student's Workload

The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

- describes as an example processes of strategy work
- describes as an example guidance and monitoring systems within Health and Social Service and the main contents of guiding acts, regulations and statutes
- describes as an example the central administrative procedures

Grade 3: The student
- describes as an example the politico-administrative system of social and health care and municipal administration as part of it and applies the knowledge in a familiar context
- describes the central international and national targets and programs for social and health policy and applies them as an example in management and development context in social and health care services and applies the knowledge in a familiar context
- describes the processes of strategy work and applies the knowledge in a familiar context

Assessment Methods

The grade of the study module compounds of grades of independent learning assignments (60 %) and literature examination (30 %) and self-evaluation (10 %). Numeric evaluation (0–5).
