Assessment Criteria

Level 1: The student
- describes some attributes of a quantitative study
- describes an example of how data collection in a quantitative study could be conducted, draws up a measure and matrix for the statistical software
- describes an example of how data analysis in a quantitative study could be conducted and makes a modest analysis of pre-collected data
- describes an example of how the results of a quantitative study could be reported and how trustworthiness of a quantitative study could be evaluated and reports basic information from pre-collected data

Level 3: The student
- describes the central attributes of a quantitative study and applies this knowledge in a known context
- describes the methods of data collection in a quantitative study and draws up a justified measure and matrix for the statistical software
- - describes the methods of data analysis in a quantitative study and makes an analysis of pre-collected data
- - describes the methods of reporting of a quantitative study and evaluation of trustworthiness of a quantitative study and reports from pre-collected data

Level 5: The student
- examines analytically the central attributes of a quantitative study in relation to the approach within philosophy of science
- describes the data collection methods in quantitative studies and applies this knowledge in a new context with proper justifications
- describes the data analysis methods in quantitative studies and applies this knowledge in a new context with proper justifications
- describes the methods of reporting and evaluating trustworthiness in quantitative studies and applies this knowledge in a new context with proper justifications

Assessment Methods

Active attendance at the practices and assignment, numeric evaluation (0–5).
