Learning Outcomes
The student understands the significance of nursing research in developing the quality of nursing. The student gains a deeper understanding of evidence based nursing practice.

Contents
Relationship between nursing science, research and development. Assessment of nurse competence. Evidence based nursing practice, management and education. Evidence based client/patient education, and teaching and preceptorship of nursing students and colleagues. Future of nursing science.
