Learning Outcomes

The student deepens his knowledge in questions concerning disability, capability debilitating chronic diseases and different disabilities.

Student's Workload

Amount of work altogether 54 hrs, of which 26 contact hrs and 28 hrs of independent study. The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Basic and vocational studies.

Contents

The student understands the effect of different diseases and disabilities on the physical, mental and social capability.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Study circle and participation in the lectures of experience-trainers.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5: The student is able to evaluate the supporting measures related to different disabilities and chronic diseases and develop them to ensure involution and an unrestricted life for a client.
Grade 3: The student knows how to apply his knowledge in different supporting measures to improve capability.
Grade 1-2: The student recognizes the most common diseases and disabilities that restrict capability.
