After completing the course, you will understand what evidence-based practice means and its significance in nursing.

You will be able to use the most common health science databases to search for scientific information.

You will practice reading scientific research articles and learn to present scientifically relevant information for nursing in written form.

Recognizes the concept of evidence-based practice and its importance in nursing.

Can perform basic searches in health science databases with guidance.

Demonstrates limited ability to interpret scientific articles and summarize findings.

Understands evidence-based practice principles and applies them in nursing contexts.

Independently searches for scientific information using common health science databases.

Reads and interprets research articles and presents relevant findings in written form with justification.

Level 5 (Excellent)

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practice and its application in nursing.

Effectively searches, evaluates, and synthesizes scientific information from multiple databases.

Analyzes and integrates research findings into nursing practice and produces a well-structured, critical written report.
