Learning Outcomes

Understand what health is, health promotion areas, and key health recommendations.

Know municipal responsibilities for health promotion as presented by a wellbeing coordinator.

Identify existing and emerging health threats at individual, community, and environmental levels and integrate them into client/patient health promotion.

Recognize health risk factors during appointments and phone consultations and provide early support to those in need.

Plan and implement health and functional capacity promotion interventions for individuals and communities in collaboration with clients/patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Understand vaccinations, immunization practices, and preparation of vaccination plans.

Practice essential clinical procedures through laboratory exercises.

Evidence-based guidance and promotion of health and functional capacity in phone counseling and clinical settings.

Encouraging healthy lifestyles and self-care by supporting preventive actions and treatment of adherence.

Anticipation, monitoring, and evaluation of health promotion challenges.

Recognition, treatment, and follow-up of key diseases in nurse-led consultations.
