This course must be completed before practical training in geriatric nursing and pediatric/adolescent nursing.
Contents
Assessment and maintenance of functional capacity and resources for older adults. Nutrition and physical activity for older adults. Importance of the environment and social relationships. Pain management in older adults (Medical section). Home care and home nursing operations, assessment of service needs. Community living, family care, and informal caregiving.
