Learning Outcomes

The student
- is able to recognize existing and new health threats on individual, community and environment level and is able to add them as part of the clients'/patients' health promotion
- is able to recognize the clients'/patients' health risks at a nurse´s appointment and by phone and is able to support and counsell when needed
- is able to plan and implement interventions for the promotion of health and ability to fuction for individuals and groups with cliens/patients and multi-professional cooperation
-is able to give vaccinations

Contents

- evidence-based promotion of health and ability to function and rehabilitation by phone and at nurse´s appointment
- support of healthy habits and self-care by supporting preventive behaviors and compliance with care
development of the community health
- prevention of general infectious diseases and vaccinations
- anticipation, monitoring and evaluation the challenges of health promotion
- the most common diseases at nurse´s appointment; recognice, care and observation

Grade 5:
The student
- understands the meaning of different operators for health
promotion
- can promote the health of a client/patient with different
backgrounds
- knows the central processes of health inspections at nurse´s appointment
- acts at work and in community taking the health and safety into consideration.
- is able to give vaccinations and give advices for follow-up treatment

Grade 3:
The student
- knows different operators for health promotion
- can pay attention to health of a client/patient with different
backgrounds
- manages the central processes of health inspections at nurse´s appointment
- acts at work and in community taking the health and safety into consideration.

Grade 1:
The student

- knows some different operators for health promotion
- can pay attention to the health of a client/patient with different
Backgrounds under suipervision
needs some guidance and help in currying it out the central processes of health inspections at nurse´s appointment
- how to perform work tasks and spend leisure time without
endangering his/her own or the safety of others.
