Learning Outcomes

It is enacted in the Degree Regulations in the 11th paragraph that the thesis is compulsory for all fields of study leading to a polytechnic degree. The thesis is an independent project in a larger scale the aim of which is to train the graduating student for solving problems comprehensively, combining thematic entities, studying the topic theoretically, using appropriate research methods, working logically and systematically, retrieving and using reference material, good written, illustrated and oral expression, acquiring abilities to develop one’s profession. The purpose of the thesis is to combine theoretical studies and practical working life and to facilitate the student’s changeover from the polytechnic to work as an expert in working life.
