Learning Outcomes

The student deepens her/his professional thinking in nursing, knowledge and skills in the treatment of acutely ill patients. The student is able to guide, teach and support acutely ill patients and is able to encounter their significant others. The student is able to take care of acutely ill patients by using nursing methods, which are based on nursing theory and research. The student understands the signifigance of nursing research in developing the quality of nursing. The student is able to describe the working methods related to health care entrepreneurship.

Level 5.
Student is able to
- evaluate and prioritize the needs of care and support of acutely ill patients
- plan and implement the patient's holistic nursing in a new context
- apply a variety of nursing methods for patient care situation
- advise, guide and support patients and their relatives in various situations
-to describe the elements of nursing practice, management and education based on nursing science and to apply them in a new context
-to describe the elements of entpreneurship in nursing and to apply them in a new context

Level 3.
Student is able to:
- identify the needs of care and support of acutely ill patients
- plan and implement the patient's holistic care
- use the main methods of patient care situation
- advise, guide and support patients and their relatives
- to describe the elements of nursing practice, management and education based on nursing science
- to describe the elements of entpreneurship in nursing
Level 1.
Student is able to:
- identify needs of care and support of acutely ill patients
- plan and implement the main principles of the patient's holistic care
- describe the key methods of nursing in patient care situation
- identify as a team member the patient and relatives needs of guidance and to support them
- to name elements of nursing practice, management and education based on nursing science
- to name elements of entpreneurship in nursing
