Student's Workload
135 h, containing 50 h of scheduled contact studies. Four hours reserved for the final seminar.
Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses
Safety at Work and Electrical Work Safety, Basics of Data Transmission, Distributed Energy Production and Specialised Electric Drives
Contents
The topics of the projects are related to the subjects dealt with in Distributed Energy Production and Specialised Electric Drives course. Primarily, the purpose is to obtain the topic from the industry so that the clients also participate in the supervision and assessment but the topic can also be provided by the teacher or self –chosen. The topic should relate to the application, control, adjustment or supervision of distributed energy production or the power electronics in specialised electric drives. For example, collection of measurement data in one of these subareas and advanced analysis of the data: development of communication and its reliability on various levels, application of cybersecurity of systems, advanced control or protection algorithms, application of mechanical safety solutions or improvement of energy and utilisation efficiency.
The projects will be implemented in groups, which will be responsible for technical and financial implementation and report on the progress to the client. The project groups will present the results in the final seminar to the client and other project groups.
