Contents

* problems in ability to function which need of special support, basic knowledge about different disabled groups from the pedagogic perspective
* the meaning of culture in people’s values, actions and communication
* become acquainted with different cultures, multiculturality, 3sp
* understandind multiculturality and making use of theory and concepts with coopetarion partner: 4 aspects of culture by G. Hofstede, adaptation phases to a new culture, acculturation model, cultural shock, cultural sensitivity
* methods and tools supporting communication: plain language, nonverbal communication, illustrated communication
*diversity in the society and communities
*supporting and streghtening participation

Assessment Criteria

Grade 1: the student
* knows how to use single working methods to support client individually
* shows familiarity with the knowledge base of the field

Grade 3: the student knows how to
* choose the best working methods to support the client’s needs and use them to support the client individually
* apply the knowledge base of the field logically

Grade 5: the student knows how to
* apply different working methods in different clint groups clint-oriented
* apply the knowledge base of the field in a expert manner
