Learning Outcomes

The student internalizes the stages of the family work processes and acquires the ability to work in a multi-professional way with different families,taking into account the special needs of the families in their activities.
The student is able to look at family situations from the perspective of preventive work.
The student takes up-to-date evidence-based information and a ethical perspective into account in his or her activities.

The total number of hours in the course is 81, of which 33 hours contact teaching and 48 hours independent study

Contents

Supporting and guiding a family expecting a child and living with an infant child. Supporting parenting growth,early interaction and relationships.Early interaction and special support for children and young people.

Level 5
The student
is able to independently and customer oriented identify the most important factors influencing multidisciplinary family-centered work.
is able to search for, use and evaluate evidence-based information and utilize it in the development of multidisciplinary family-centered work.
is able to act in accordance with ethical principles, develops his or her own and other ethical activities of those involved in multidisciplinary family-centered work.

Level 3
The student is able to independently identify the main factors influencing multidisciplinary family-centered work.
is able to reasonably search, use and evaluate evidence-based information.
is able to work independently in cooperation with the client and other participant in the service.
is able to act in accordance with ethical principles, evaluating his or her own and the ethical activities of the participants.

Level 1
The student is able to identify in a guided way the main factors influencing multidisciplinary family-centered work.
