Learning Outcomes

The student is able to communicate professionally. The student is able to independently communicate and socially interact in Finnish. He/she is able to apply Vamk instructions in written reports.

Student's Workload

Total work load: 81 hrs, out of which
- scheduled lessons 26 hrs
- independent learning 55 hrs

The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

-Assertiveness in communication
-Identifying and developing interaction skills, oral communication
-Writing process, language planning, writing during the studies
-Texts and styles for different purposes: documents
-Use of source material to support one's writing.

Assessment Methods

Completed oral and written exercises and examination. Grading scale (0-5).
