The student
* is familiar with the service system and understands its function
* gets acquainted with the basic concepts of child protection and directives and legislation guiding the actions
* knows the service structures of child protection and preventive work with families with children
* assimilates the phases of family work process and gets ability to work with different kinds of families taking into account the special needs of the families
* knows the methods of family work and knows how to monitor situation in families from preventive angle

* apply the theory of the field when working with the families
* identify the needs of special support and apply some methods of client work when working with the families
* analyse the wellbeing of families and support families in different situations
Grade 5: the student
* apply in expert manner the theory of the field when working with the families
* identify and evaluate the needs of special support and choose and apply different methods of client work when working with the families
* analyse the wellbeing of families as a hole and support families in different situations
