Learning Outcomes

The students will acquire sufficient language skills to manage in various communicative situations in working life and in professional contexts. The students develop their skills in written and in oral communication in professional contexts. The student is able to use English for acquiring information during the studies and in working life. The student has a positive attitude towards language learning.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5
The student can communicate fluently in English both in speech and in writing. The student has an extensive vocabulary and understands texts of the field of study without difficulty. The student has an interest in improving their skills continuously. The student can produce a written text within their own field of study.

Grade 3
The student is able to participate in a work-related conversation, with occasional mistakes and errors in their own speech. The student knows the key vocabulary of the field and understands texts of their own field of study.The student can produce a written text within their own field of study.

Grade 1
The student can follow a work-related discussion. The student knows the basic vocabulary of the field and understands the main points of texts in the field.
