Learning Outcomes

The student gets acquainted with the explanative theories of criminality and the principles of criminal work. The student familiarizes with different operators and organizations in the criminal work field. The student gets acquainted with helping methods and customs for victims of crime. The student works with his own relationship with criminals and criminality.

The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Criminality, criminal policy, probation and aftercare services, theories explaining criminality, victims of crime, supporting forms for victims of crime, legal proceedings as a process, implication system, prevention, social rehabilitation.

The student plans, estimates, explains and develops his own activity (reflection), his relationship to criminals and criminality, also critically. The student knows how to evaluate the working process of criminal work (connections between people in criminal work) to develop better methods.

The student knows how to analyse his own actions (reflection), his relationship to criminals and criminality, also critically. The student knows how to analyse the working process of criminal work (connections between people in criminal work). The student is able to apply the theory concerning criminal work into possible hands-on situations.

The student recognizes the principles of criminal work. The student knows how to define the different operators and organizations in the field of criminal work.
