Learning Outcomes

The student recognizes the need for first aid, gives first aid in demanding situations and is familiar with health care in special circumstances.

Student's Workload

The student’s amount of work altogether 54 h. The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

First aid (FRC I and II) and special circumstances. First aid teaching according to the guidelines of the Finnish Red Cross (FRC), elementary and advanced courses in first aid and information about special circumstances in addition.
