Learning Outcomes
The student understands the social, economical, political and cultural structures and processes of the society. The student understands the special features that involve being a social services client. The student understands the characteristics and operational principles of a modern, flexible work community and knows how to develop his own work community according to them. The student adopts that the attitude in active learning is a lifelong process and is familiar with the conformities to law in group dynamics.
Contents
Basic concepts of sociology, social politics and economics. Structure, operation and development of society and national economy. Maintaining work motivation, self-knowledge as a part of interaction, giving feedback, diversity of the work in the social services branch. Basics in work and organizational behaviour, factors related to the personnel’s status, hiring personnel and occupational safety. Basic concepts in social psychology and pedgogics. Learning views, learning strategies. Teaching and guiding. Interaction and collaboration. Group, group structure and group processes. Values, norms and prejudices in a human society. Sociality in human action, emotion and thinking.
