Learning Outcomes

The student knows how to
- illustrate central fields of human resource management
- apply justifiably the concepts and methods of human resource management in different contexts
- illustrate the laws and agreements of human resource management and use them in managerial duties

Student's Workload

Total work load of the course 162 h, of which scheduled studies 21 h and autonomous studies 141 h.
The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Grade 1: The student

- describes as an example the rights and duties of an employer and an employee
Grade 3: The student
- describes the core processes and sectors in human resource management and applies the knowledge in a familiar context
- describes the concepts and methods of human resource management and applies the knowledge in a familiar context
- describes the rights and duties of a of an employer and an employee and applies the knowledge in a familiar context
Grade 5: The student
- examines analytically the core processes and sectors in human resource management and applies the knowledge in different contexts in operational environments of social and health care
- analyses and reflects the concepts and methods of human resource management as well as their importance as part of the supervisory work
- understands the rights and duties of an employer and an employee and applies the knowledge in a new context

Assessment Methods

Literature examination (50 %) and learning assignments (50 %). Numeric evaluation (0–5).
