Learning Outcomes
The student is able to design, plan and implement a working life oriented research or development project. The student masters the most commonly used research and development methods, and is able to analyze scenarios and change necessities in working life situations.

Classroom lectures 32 h including 8 h obligatory method exercise, independent studies and seminars 103 h (Together 135 h).
Assessment Criteria
Level 5:
- the student can plan and realize working life based research and development project
- the student can critically assess the outcomes of research and development projects
- the student can implement the methods of qualitative and quantitative research
- the student can analyze the needs for change and scenarios of working life
Level 3:
- the student has the abilities to take part in realizing working life based research and development projects in social and health care
- the student understands the meaning of research and development actions in social and health care
Level 1:
- the student is familiar with the principles of working life based research and development projects
- the student is familiar with the central methods of qualitative and quantitative research
Assessment Methods
The grade of the study module compounds of attending the seminars, autonomous assignments and self-evaluation. Numeric evaluation (1–5).
