Learning Outcomes
The student knows the key concepts in sociology and is able to examine the social phenomena and his/her own activities from a sociological perspective. The student is familiar with the social welfare and health service system and the operations of that system. The student is familiar with the basic principles of sustainable development and understand their role in society. The students knows the factors that affect the human development and key development theories.

Grade 1
The student able to describe the key concepts in sociology. The student is able to describe the social welfare and health service systems and how it works. The student is able to describe some of the factors affecting human development.
Grade 3
The student is able to use the key concepts of sociology when describing social phenomena . The student is able to apply his / her knowledge on the social welfare and health service system. The student is able to describe the main factors affecting human development and development theories.
Grade 5
The student is able to apply the key sociological concepts when looking at social phenomena and at his/her own actions and way of working. The student is able to apply and use the knowledge (s)he has on the social welfare and health care system in various situations. The students is able to use different theories when describing and illustrating the factors affecting human development.
Assessment Methods
Examination 80 %, learning assignment 20 %. Grading 0-5
