Learning Outcomes

The student is able to identify changes in health and illness of children and adolescents and to understand how these changes affect the well-being of the whole family. The student knows the principles of paediatric and adolescent nursing and the most important nursing methods.

A healthy child and healthy adolescent, health of the Finnish child, special characteristics of nursing children and adolescents . Family centered counselling and guidance.Paediatric pharmacotherapy.
