Learning Outcomes
The student deepens her knowledge of the growth and development of children and adolescents and the meaning of growth environment for the promotion of growth and development. The student gets acquinted with family-oriented and multidisciplinary work and understands the meaning of interaction with children and their families in health promotion and well-being. The stundent is able to handle examinations and screenings in child`s and adolescents health care. The student gets profient in regognizing disorders, to assess what kind of support is needed and to plan monitoring and care support in co-operation with different experts.

Contents
Children`s physical, psychosocial and social development. Health monitoring and screenings. Health promotion and multidisciplinary work. Public Health nurse`s expertise in paeditaric and adolescent health care.
