Learning Outcomes

The student will get familiar with the basics in nursing research and will be able to use quantitative and qualitative research methods for seeking and analyzing information when writing essays, conducting surveys and when writing the Bachelor´s thesis. Students become aware of scientific research process and they know how to use and benefit from research information. Students recognize the role of research in the development of their profession. Students learn the basic statistical concepts, and they learn to produce and display statistical data graphically. The student is able to evaluate the validity and reliability of the results and they are aware of research ethics.
