Learning Outcomes

The student achieves an understanding of the disturbances in mental health, learns to identify needs related to disturbances in mental health and to respond to them. The student can create an interactive, client based and objective-oriented relationship to people with mental problems and to face their nearest. The student can apply the most common psychiatric nursing methods and rehabilitation, learns how to function in a multi professional team and forms a view of the mental health care service system.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Clinical placement in different environments of mental health care and psychiatric care in primary health care, specialized health care, private health care or the third sector. Visits, exercises and case studies.
