Learning Outcomes
The students will deepen their knowledge in the health promotion of adults and elderly. The students know the possibilities of different service systems for health promotion. The students learn to make a care plan in multiprofessional collaboration.
The students will understand the possibilities of health technology in the health promotion. The student will learn how to make use of applications of information technology and health technology in the guidance of the clients.
Contents
Factors affecting the health and well-being of adults and ageing, essential problems in the public health and the prevention. Supporting and maintaining health. Health service for the adult population and elderly people. Making a comprehensive care plan in multiprofessional collaboration. Home care, home nursing and hospital at home. Health technology as a method.
