Learning Outcomes

Anesthesiology

Students will deepen their knowledge of commonly available methods of anesthesia, the indications, techniques, and basic patient monitoring and treatment. The student becomes well-versed in specialized anesthesia, a short-day surgical anesthesia and pain management. Students learn about the different stages of life that occur in disease states anesthetic effects. Students internalize its own responsibility for acting in the peri-operative care.

Surgery
Students deepen their knowledge in specialized surgery for key surgical techniques and gain skills to their work in a team and cutting special treatment requiring surgery. Students internalize its own responsibility for acting in the peri-operative care.

Contents

Anaesthetic agents and techniques, anesthetic procedures, underlying disease and anesthesia, cardio-pulmonary anesthesia, anesthesia in the special features of the children and the elderly. Various types of surgery and related anesthetic.

General surgery, abdominal organ surgery, urology, traumatology, orthopedics, thoracic and vascular surgery, rintarauhaskirurgia, gynecology and pediatric surgery.

Lectures and autonomous studies.
