Learning Outcomes
The characteristics of every day life information processing and scientific thinking, scientific research as a channel for producing and mediating information, evaluation of information usability, basic abilities to start a thesis. Mastering the mathematical methods that are needed in statistical research.
Student's Workload
Contact hours and web study 56 h, independent study and exercises 56 h. The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.
Contents
Rules of processing everyday life information, science and non-science, philosophy of science, scientific research, qualitative research, quantitative research, validity, research plan, percentage calculation, progression, functions and equations. Mathematical methods in excel.
