Learning Outcomes

Methods of Rehabilitation

The student gets comprehensive picture of multiprofessional rehabilitation and knows methods of social, educational, occupational and medical rehabilitation to support the client. The student knows by different means produced social- and health services and is able to guide the client to get appropriate rehabilitative services. The student is able to guide the client to use rehabilitative instruments so that (s)he can manage in everyday life at home.

Contents

Rehabilitation, the objectives of rehabilitation. Different forms of social rehabilitation. Management in services. Educational rehabilitation, occupational specialrehabilitation, servicesystem in Employment Administration and rehabilitative working action. Different forms of medical rehabilitation, instruments and how to get them. Rehabilitation benefits in KELA.
