Learning Outcomes

The student learns the core areas of professional social work and gains skills for client work. The student understands how the change to multicultural societies affects social work. The student knows the special services available and how they work. The student can support immigrants` integration to Finnish society.

Professional client process, professional interaction. Special services. Being an asylum seeker and mobility, Inter-cultural interaction, tolerance and attitude. Racism. Immigrant as a social services´ client. Immigrant services.
