Learning Outcomes
The student will understand the importance of culture in human growth and development. He will know the characteristics of the Finnish culture, its values, norms. The student becomes familiar with and learns to respect other cultures and learns principles of inter-cultural communication. The student familiarizes himself with a client group and its situation in life. The student learns methods to analyze clients situation in life and the influencing factors. The student learns the required social services for the client group.
