Learning Outcomes
The student can design simple reinforced concrete structures and understands different steps in structural design process.
Student's Workload
The total amount of student's work is 162 h, which contains 84 h of contact studies and 78 h of autonomous studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents
The qualification for designing the load bearing structures. The skeletons of buildings, how they work and their tasks and choosing the skeleton system. Designing the reinforced structures in bending, for shear forces and torsion. Stressed structures. Designing reinforced concrete structures in serviceability limit state. Foundations.
