Learning Outcomes
The student knows strong alcoholic beverages, fortified wines and beers. He/she manages their use in different drinks and can recommend them to the customers. He/she masters alcohol legislation and can apply it in his/her work.
Student's Workload
Lectures and supervised teaching 32 h, supervised practical exercises 20 h, individual studies 28 h, theory reading 20 h, examinations and practical tests 8h.

The student can price the alcoholic beverages and cocktails in a profitable way, she can plan the sales accordingly. The student can apply the alcohol legislation in changing situations and is cabable of applying for the licenses, can employe comptetent staff according to the alcoho legislation. The student can plan the advertising for the restaurant according to the law.
Good 3
The student knows the oringin and types of different alcoholic beverages, she can use them in cocktails and can recommend them in a suitable way. She masters the alcohol legislation and can guide the staff in their work also when concerning alcohol law.
Satisfactory 1
The student knows different alcoholic beverages and the most common international cocktails. She can recommend them in a suitable way. She masters the essential parts of the alcohol act concerning serving alcoholic beverages in the restaurant.
