Learning Outcomes

Creating restaurant experiences

You acquaint yourself with the planning and developing of a restaurant business on product level. You know how to plan and carry out different types of orders in a restaurant or other surroundings. You know how to compose tasty and nutritionally correct meals for various customer groups taking into account the economic values of the business. You know the basics of product development and conceptualize the significance of sensory evaluation in terms of quality. You master profit margin calculations, evaluation of profitability and efficiency together with pricing of products and services. You master the special terminology of the restaurant trade and you are able to deal with customer service situations in Swedish and English.
