Learning Outcomes
The student will acquire the basic methodology for seeking and analyzing specialized information for writing essays and reports and conducting surveys and research projects typical of bachelor degree level. The student is able to evaluate the validity and reliability of results.

Contents
Information search and criteria for scientific knowledge. Definition of a research problem. Strategies in research: experiments, survey and case studies. Qualitative and quantitative research methods. Planning of personal project for the final thesis.

Assignments in information seeking and analysing research reports (50%). Active participation in seminars, a small-scale report of the final thesis (50%). Numeric scale (0-5).
