Learning Outcomes
The aim for the student is to know the basic concepts in environmental protection and to realize the significance of environmental values in the hospitality business. Evaluation of environmental impacts and understanding of ethical responsibility in society.
Contents
Basics of environmental protection. Legislation and authorities. Environmental values and cultural sustainability. Assessment of the status of the environment. Structure of an environmental programme. Safety at work and welfare in work community. Current topics.
