Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, the student will have an understanding of the role and significance of legislation in procedural law. The student will have a clear and structured overall picture of the basic principles and concepts of procedural law. During the course, the student will form an overall picture of the functioning of the judiciary, legal proceedings, and procedural principles. Additionally, the student will become familiar with the operation of the court and the roles of different individuals as part of the handling of civil, application, or criminal cases. The student will understand the differences between various types of procedures.

Student's Workload

In higher education, 1 credit corresponds to 27 hours of student work. For this course, that means 135 hours, which are divided into contact hours, exercises, and independent study.

• Operating principles of the court and the prosecutor's office
• Fair trial as a fundamental right
