Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, the student can use financial management systems and understand their significance and importance. The student will understand the significance of the areas of accounting and their connections with general accounting. The student will be able to check and reconcile the sub-areas and thereby ensure the correctness of the entries and understand the formation of the whole. The course also considers the principles of electronic financial management and basic practices related to sustainability reporting.

Student's Workload

In higher education, 1 credit corresponds to 27 hours of student work. For this course, that means 135 hours, which are divided into contact hours, exercises, and independent study.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

The basics of business accounting, accounting in practice and payroll administration, cost accounting, different types of companies and special issues in accounting.

Contents

The course content includes practical overall assignments done during classes and independently as homework. Specific/essential answers to the tasks are available, and working on your entries with them is possible. In problem situations and solving them, students can critically assess their competence and problem-solving skills.
