Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, the student will master the key legal principles and norms of administration as part of administrative activities and as a civil servant. The student will understand and be well-acquainted with the substantive, procedural, and territorial jurisdiction of administration, as well as the key norms of administrative procedure. The student will also understand the connections of administrative activities to constitutional, fundamental, and human rights regulations. The student will adopt civil service regulations as part of a civil servant's duties and be able to apply disqualification regulations in practice if necessary, as well as understand the criminal liability of a civil servant. Additionally, the student will master the basics of public access to information legislation, archival legislation, and data protection.

Student's Workload

In higher education, 1 credit corresponds to 27 hours of student work. For this course, that means 135 hours, which are divided into contact hours, exercises, and independent study.

Substantive, procedural, and territorial jurisdiction of administration.
Means of appeal against administrative decisions.
Civil service legislation and disqualification of civil servants, as well as the legal status of civil servants (including criminal liability).
Archival legislation.
Publicity Act.
Data protection regulations.
