Learning Outcomes
The student knows central theories on ethics and responsible business and is able to use them to evaluate the responsibility of business. The student is able to assess the environmental impacts of business and provide tools for development. The student knows well the partners in connection with contracts, the obligations in relation to a contract, promissory notes and personal and real security. The student knows well commercial law, competition law, consumer protection law and immaterial rights. The student gets familiar with basic functions of financial and stock markets and with central financing instruments. The student acquires a basic knowledge of risk management. The student gets familiar with the principles of strategic management and strategic leadership of a company. The student understands the key aspects and functions of a modern, flexible workplace and is able to lead and develop his/her own working community accordingly.

Central ethical theories, ethical thinking, role of ethics in business. Individual and organizational values. Central theoretical models in corporate responsibility, such aas stakeholder model. Sustainable development and its economic, social and environmental dimensions. Interconnection between business and society. Causes and consequences of environmental problems, environmental management, environmental attitudes and behavior. The parties of a contract, procedures involved when drawing up and determinating a contract, conditions, invalidity of a contract, obligations , promissory notes and security. Consumer Protection, Unfair Business Practice , Restriction of Competition, Intellectual Property Rights. Sale of Goods , Product liability and Product safety.Financial planning, working capital policy, structure of capital, budgeting as a tool to manage capital, financial markets.
