After completing the course
* you can justify the importance of payroll administration as part of the company's operations
* you know the key concepts related to salary.
* you know the personnel costs to be paid by the employer and the amounts deducted from employees' salaries
* you know how to make payroll entries for accounting
* you know how to process reimbursements of expenses and calculate monetary values of fringe benefits
* you know how to calculate annual vacations
* you know how to calculate overtime compensation

Student's Workload

1 ECTS = 27h of work, so 2 ECTS = 54h is distributed in the Study Course as follows:

Contents

Statutory Insurances, Withholding Tax, National Insurance Contributions, Fringe benefits, Reimbursement of expenses, annual Vacations, collective agreements, the calculation of working time pay, payroll accounting entries.
