Learning Outcomes

The student is aware of various risks and opportunities in the everyday running of a tourism enterprise. He/she is able to estimate and recognize the factors behind the success of a tourism enterprise.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Conceptualization of a general view, interactive questioning, interactive lecture, study discussion, learning by writing, exercises, group discussion, cumulative group, case exercises, computer-based learning, excursions.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5
The student is able to analysis own chances to become a entrepreneur. He or she is also able to recognize the prerequisites for a successful business and identifies the critical factors in tourism business.
Grade 3
The student identifies risks and opportunities in entrepreneurship and is able to utilize business starting process for the development of the own business idea.
Grade 1
The student identifies the premises for entrepreneurship in the own business idea as well as in existing businesses.

Assessment Methods

Numeric scale is used (0-5). Active participation, essay, teamwork, individual exercises and a written report of business analyses and presentation of it.
