Learning Outcomes
The student learns the basics of the most common manufacturing techniques. They recognize the importance of design for product manufacturability and production costs. The student is able to use the most common machine shop measuring tools and gains a concrete understanding of the manufacturing process by working on the production of assigned parts. The student can determine the quality production capability of the system.
