Learning Outcomes

Technical calculations today are almost completely carried out with the help of computers. therefore, an engineer has to be able to use different mathematical software. In this course the student will learn to use MathCad system to solve tecnical-mathematical problems. This program can be used both for numerical and symbloical calculations. After the coarse the student is able to use MathCad for solving mathematical problems in engineering.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the course: 56 h
- of which scheduled studies: 24 h
- of which autonomous studies: 32 h
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included.

Contents

Short overview tomathematical software. mathCad basic operations, functions and graphs, units, vectors, curve fitting, solving equations and systems of equations, symbolic calculation. Applications on the field of engineering.
