Learning Outcomes

The student will become aware of the importance of occupational safety and know the operative methods for maintaining and developing the safety at the workplace, obtain the certaficate of occupational safety and first aid at emergency.

The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Central regulations of occupational safety. Occupational safety in a shared workplace. Identifying hazards, estimating the risk levels as well as preventing accidents and work-related illnesses . General safety rules of the workplace as well as most common risk factors and their elimination. Readyness to handle accidents and knowledge of emergency operations .
